Hosted at Lucy Cavendish College, UK Schooling’s Academic Summer Camp for students aged between 13 and 18 aims to give students the opportunity to further their passion for learning by discovering fascinating aspects of their chosen subject that are not covered by the school curriculum.
This two-week residential course held between 9 July and 5 August includes an academically challenging programme designed and taught by expert tutors, numerous interactive university preparation workshops, a supportive mentoring scheme with students from top UK universities and an exciting excursion to London.
We are thrilled to be offering this camp at Lucy Cavendish College where students will enjoy en-suite single accommodation, brilliant teaching facilities, a Cambridge dining experience and plenty of fun excursions to Cambridge city centre and the rest of the university.
For 2023, we will be offering courses in the following subjects. This year the focus has been on offering courses that can be studied at the undergraduate level but which are not commonly offered at schools at GCSE and A-Level.
In the afternoons and evenings, students will be able to attend taster sessions in other subjects, guest lectures and engaging workshops covering topics such as team debating skills, public speaking, the EPQ, personal statements and lots more.
