The CL Global Cambridge Summer Programme
The CL Global Cambridge Summer Programme will be held at Lucy Cavendish College in the summer of 2018.
The programme is designed to complement the students’ home university curriculum, offering the opportunity for students to gain in-depth understanding from international academic experts while enjoying college life in Cambridge.
The course contains three specialized core modules and one humanities module. The classes and supervisions add up to 45 contact hours during the 3-week residential programme. Students learn about Cambridge traditions and British culture through social activities including punting, formal hall, and ceilidh dancing.
Lucy Cavendish College College has been working with the CL Global team for the last six years and welcomed hundreds of students from China. CL Global is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education as a Short Course Provider.
CL Global is part of Beagle Education, which runs academic courses at six global campuses including at Cambridge, Ivy League Universities in the US, and campuses in Italy, Japan, and Israel.
Studio Cambridge Summer School
For ages 14-17
Studio Cambridge’s Sir Laurence programme is in its 9th year as a Studio centre and continues to grow from strength to strength. Sir Laurence is an intensive study centre, with 21 hours (28 lessons) of English per week.
Lucy Cavendish is a small and compact University college, with on-campus classrooms, facilities and residential accommodation, as well as some nearby residences in very easy walking distance.
This is an ideal centre for our 14-17 year old students who are looking for a small on-campus course, with a taste of university life and a very personal atmosphere. Only small groups are allowed at this course centre so it is ideal for students travelling by themselves or with a few friends.
The programme also has a high standard of accommodation and a staff to student ratio of 1:10. The maximum class size is 16.
